ACNE-causes and solutions

The first option is to use acne cleansing products. These can commonly be found over the counter at supermarkets or drugstores. Most of them are designed to wash away excess oil and unclog pores.

There are also some products that feed nutrients directly into your skin, although it hasn't been proven that this is effective.

Another option is to use internal products, such as certain pills, which are designed to regulate oil production and/or hormone production. This is the reason why, for some women, going on birth control pills will reduce their acne.

Eating right and exercising is said to be able to help clear up acne, too.

If you are a woman, avoid wearing too much makeup as some kinds of makeup can clog pores. It's also a good idea to not touch your own face too much since doing so can spread around oil and dirt.

There are also some prescription methods you can use, but in order to get these you will have to visit a doctor or dermatologist. Prescription acne treatments can be either external or internal, such as pills.

Remember that acne is affected by many factors, such as hormones, genetics, stress, and diet. You can't control your genetics, but you can take measures to help your acne in the other ways.
